NEWS FLASH (an UPDATE on my 2012 Wishlist)

2011 has blessed ME with a lot of things ; THINGS that I ought to be thankful for. I may have lost a few people in my life but as they say, those who left are mere passers-by so I am still grateful they have somehow spiced up my life. And so as the year is about to end, I can't help but scribble down the things that I aim to achieve in the Year of the Dragon. Feel free to read between the lines of a dreamer/traveler soul inside of me...

1. At least one or two or maybe three (3) out-of-the-country trips before the end of 2012 (FULFILLED --- Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea CONQUERED)

2. Own a Ray Ban Wayfarer's Sunglasses (Birthday Gift na daw ni Papa sa akin...Promise Pops, magpapakabait na ako...lol) (baka maging Christmas gift daw)

3. Visit Coron or Batanes (kapag nabisita ko na ang Batanes, pwede na akong kunin ni Lord...Of course, it's a joke...I still want to wander the streets of Greece and be enthralled by the beauty of the Parthenon) (In my dreams nalang ata)

4. Own a British Green or Tan/Navy Leather Satchel (pwede na rin yung Php 650 sa Ukay-Ukay) (Ok na, nakuha ko na yung bag from Ukay-Ukay)

5. Since na-discover ko na BABAE (late bloomer eh) pala ako, MORE MORE MORE MORE Shoes please...Hindi pa ako contented sa 40+ pairs of shoes...More pa please:) (Check: Ang daming additional shoes for the collection)

6. Because I LOVE EATING, I want to learn how to bake...(Di kasi ako marunong mag bake; sinubukan ko na dati pero FAIL so this year I will try to enroll in a Baking Class) (Not a CHANCE siguro)

7. SWIM with the BUTANDINGS in Donsol, Sorsogon... (Sinabi ko din pag nakalangoy na ako with the Giant Whale Sharks, pwede na ako kunin ni Lord...Pero naisip ko paano ako makakapunta ng Batanes or Greece kung kukunin na ako ni Lord pagkatapos nun...Makes sense di ba?)  (Next year na to, Feb 9-12)

8. 2011 taught me to love running and this 2012 I want to join a FUN RUN or a MARATHON for a CAUSE...And of course, I need to buy a new pair of kicks so I can start running again...Enough of KATAMARAN ko:) (TAMAD pa rin hanggang ngayon)

9. Since I didn't get the chance to meet Miriam Defensor-Santiago last year, I hope this year GOD will grant me the chance to meet the only woman who has inspired me to go to Law School...You know, even though she has been called many names like "LUKA-LUKA" or "BALIW" I still admire her...Brilliant, brilliant woman! (uhmmmmm, kelan kaya?)

10. In relation with Wishlist #8, I want to get my BODY into OPTIMUM Shape (YESSSS!!!Sana makamit ko to)...Hindi yung lage nalang akong "OBESE" or "OVERWEIGHT" tuwing Annual Physical Exams sa office...Buti na nga lang last year na realize nila na "NORMAL" ang Body Mass Index ko... (Wala pa ring pag-asa)

11. I consider myself to be a beach bum and a lover of the seas, so this year I want to learn how to surf...La Union, wait for me...I promise to make time to learn how to surf since natutunan ko ng mag skim boarding...:) (uhmmmmm, iniisip ko pa kung kelan! Baka April next year)

12. Sa tinagal-tagal ko na dito sa Manila, kahit minsan hindi ko pa nasubukang kumain sa Binondo so this 2012, I want to visit Binondo and eat AUTHENTIC Chinese food... (To my friends at sa mga taong interesado, SAMAHAN nyo ako please?) (wala pa ring pag-asa kahit ilang beses na akong napunta sa Binondo)

13. Try a NEW HAIRDO hindi yung puro straight lang...This 2011 na try ko na mag full bangs so this 2012 feel ko mag try ng bagong style...Kulot kaya pwede? Kaso nagdadalawang-isip ako kasi naman sa ITIM kong ito, magpapakulot ako? Eh di sana hindi na JM pangalan ko kungdi KIRARA na...lol:) (CHECK- was able to sport a short hair after a very long time)

14. Attend ONE REALLY HUGE Concert (last concert na napanood ko EHEADS the REUNION pa...Tagal na pla) (Salamat PAROKYA NI EDGAR, check na rin to)

15. Makapag KART RACING kahit sa Enchanted man lang or kahit sa tabi-tabi lang (problema hindi ako marunong mag drive...NANANAWAGAN po ulit ako sa mga taong may busilak na kalooban, utang na loob po turuan nyo akong mag-drive...lol) (wala na talagang chance, ever)
